About Us

FLORIDA EDIT is part of the Edit Empire network: independent, expert-run sites, each devoted to one subject and written by a dedicated editorial team.

FLORIDA EDIT covers PLACES & GUIDES, REAL ESTATE & MOVING, NATURE & WILDLIFE, HERITAGE & CULTURE, FLORIDIANS, LAWS & HOW-TO, FOOD & DRINK every day — fast, factual and clearly sourced. Every story names its sources, every image carries its credit, and corrections are published openly.

How we work

Our desk follows a published set of editorial laws: facts are confirmed by at least two independent sources before a story runs, opinion is labelled as opinion, and reader comments and tips shape what we cover next.
